Aviation Safety training is available to enhance the knowledge and improve the practical application of safety practices within the industry.
Aviation Safety training can be provided as independent training courses or integrated into training packages to supplement Pilot, Cabin Crew and Engineer training courses.
‘Initial' and ‘Refresher' training courses can be facilitated at various Oxford Aviation Academy training centres or at the customers preferred location.
The training will be performed by instructor lead lessons together with practical exercises. The participants will also work in small groups. Special attention to the CRM aspects at solving problems is taken into consideration.
The following options are available:
Dangerous Goods, Flight Deck Crew: For operators holding permanent approval to carry Dangerous Goods)
Dangerous goods, Flight Deck Crew: For operators not holding permanent approval to carry Dangerous Goods
Dangerous Goods, Cabin Crew.

This half day course is designed to provide Aircrew, Engineers or Cabin Crew with the knowledge and understanding of Dangerous Goods, their potential hazards and the procedures applicable to air transport. Includes an examination.
* Recurrent training is required within 24 months of any previous training.

Using local third party leisure facilities we are able to offer water survival training and techniques, this includes life raft exercises, the actual donning and use of personal floatation equipment in water along with swimming and simulated rescue exercises like ditching hints.

Initial - One day course to enable aircrew to be aware of the elements of the Aviation Security Programme which have a direct influence on their duties as flight deck or cabin crew.
Refresher - This half day course is designed to reinforce the knowledge gained from the initial course and to review new developments in the field of aviation security.
* Refresher training is required within 12 months of any previous training.

The training covers classroom lectures and hands on training. Real fire fighting and smoke training is performed in a Cabin Fire Trainer.
The training covers classroom lectures and cabin mock-up emergency scenarios with evacuations. Focus is on the crowd control technique and on guidance of passengers in emergency situations with relevant communication and correct orders.
