Course Information

We offer a comprehensive suite of maintenance training packages covering our BAe Regional Aircraft Fleet (146/RJ, ATP, J41, J31/32), A320, Embraer 170/190, B737CL and B737NG. Maintenance training courses are designed to provide holders of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence with a complete understanding of the systems and components associated with each discipline. Successful completion of the courses will enable maintenance personnel to carry out effective line and base maintenance tasks, as well as optimising the publications and tools at their disposal.

Maintenance training courses are constructed and delivered in accordance with ATA 104 Level 3 and are approved under EASA Part 147. All of our full-length conversion courses are designed to satisfy the requirements of PART 66 Category B1, B2 and C Licence holders. In addition to full conversion courses, we also offer differences training allowing easy and cost effective upgrades between early and later examples of the same aircraft type and general familiarisation courses, which give an overview of the aircraft type, are also available. These can be customised to meet the particular needs of the students in terms of depth and detail. All courses finish off with a multi-choice examination.

Training is delivered by our dedicated team of instructors, who bring a wealth of knowledge to the role. Courses can be delivered at the customers location, our Manchester Training Centre or any other OAA Training Centre where all classrooms are purpose-built and equipped with the latest multimedia systems, allowing us to use a wide selection of video, computer generated graphics, and animations to supplement more traditional instructional methods

For non-EU operators, subject to relevant aviation authority approval, we can provide maintenance personnel training under BCAR Section L; airframe/powerplant and electrical/avionics.
