Multi Pilot Training

Oxford Aviation Academy's Multi Pilot Training gives students realistic training in operating a multi-pilot, multi-engine airplane under IFR conditions. The training emphasises the development of non-technical skills applicable to working in a multi-crew environment.

OAA delivers Multi Crew Co-operation (MCC) and Jet Operations Conversion (JOC) courses in our airline style multi pilot flight training centre based at Melbourne Moorabbin Airport. This centre houses a fixed base jet simulator (based on the Bombardier CRJ-200) with the very latest in visual system technology with a 200-degree wrap-around screen.

The jet simulator is fitted with dual Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS), dual Flight Management Systems (FMS), Engine Instruments and Crew Alerting Systems (EICAS), Flight Directors (FD) and Auto Pilot (AP). This simulator enables students to be trained for the very latest in EFIS flight deck technology.

Our instructors all have extensive airline pilot training experience with many years in this role. They are well qualified, collectively and individually, to meet the objectives of airline transition training.

The jet simulator in combination with our highly experienced instructors provides a realistic airline-training environment and creates excellent 'bridge' transition training from ab initio training into type endorsement training and onto airline service.

Following MCC and JOC 'bridge' training courses on the simulator, OAA is able to offer airliner type endorsement training at any one of our 7 type training centres in: Hong Kong, Scandinavia and the UK.
