EFIS Flight Deck Training

The Oxford Aviation Academy EFIS Flightdeck Training course aims to introduce students to the modern Glass cockpit environment. The course is primarily aimed at students who haven’t been exposed to modern glass cockpit environments during their initial training. The course introduces elements common to modern Boeing and Airbus Flight decks thus bridging the gap to type training.

Our state-of-the-art Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ200) simulator, equipped with dual FMS, EFIS, EICAS, EGPWS, TCAS and auto flight systems and 180 degree visual provides maximum fidelity and bridges the experience gap between light piston engine aeroplanes and higher performance Jet Aircraft. The simulator is well suited for this course due to its’ high level of sophistication in glass cockpit equipment.
