Oxford Aviation Academy Minimum Entry Requirements

• JAR-FCL Class 1 Medical Certificate
• ATPL theory completed at OAA
• A minimum 80% pass in ATPL Ground Examinations with OAA
• No more than 2 ATPL Examination retakes
• Satisfactory school report from Ground School phase of training
• Minimum age on commencement of training of 18 years

Please note: You must be able to obtain an American M1 Visa and Transport Security Administration (TSA) clearance to commence flight training in the USA.

OAA Minimum Entry Requirements – ATPL theory completed at another flight training school.

• JAR-FCL Class 1 Medical Certificate
• A minimum 80% pass in ATPL Ground Examinations
• No more than 2 ATPL Examination retakes
• Successful completion of a 1 day Skills Assessment held at Oxford - £125
• Satisfactory school report from Ground School phase of training
• Minimum age on commencement of training of 18 years

Licence Requirements to commence CPL flight training

• ICAO PPL
• JAR-FCL Class 1 Medical Certificate (UK version is required for licence issue)
• Minimum of 150 hours total time
• Minimum of 100 hours PIC
• 5 hour JAA Night Qualification
• UK Radio Telephony (RT) Licence
