ATPL Theory - Helicopters

Oxford Aviation Academy offers ATPL(H) theoretical training for helicopter pilots through a Distance Learning study package. All students study for and sit the same examinations as those working towards an ATPL(A), except for Aircraft Performance. The students also study Principles of Flight (Helicopter) rather than the fixed wing aircraft equivalent. In total, ATPL(H) students will take examinations in 13 subjects, one of which relates to Principles of Flight (Helicopter), rather than the 14 of the fixed wing ATPL(A) examinations.
