NON JAA to JAA Conversions

For the conversion of a non-JAA CPL/ATPL there are a number of ground examinations that you will need to complete, dependant on your experience.

OAA can offer ATPL theoretical conversion packages to suit your individual requirements.

We can offer you a complete package to convert your ICAO CPL ME IR.
  • 10 hrs CPL PA34 Seneca (including 170A) and CPL Skills Test
  • 15 hrs IR (10 hrs PA34 FNPTII / 5 hrs PA34 Seneca, including 170A) and IR Skills Test

Course fees:

  • £9,429 + £3,700 CAA Test fee package

Minimum entry requirements:

  • A current and valid CPL ME IR issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1
  • Valid UK JAR-FCL Class 1 certificate
  • UK Radio Telephony (RT) licence
  • Successful completion in all the 14 JAA ATPL examinations

  • CAA Tests, Regulatory & Licence Issue Fees

This course is based on the MINIMUM hours required under JAR-FCL. Depending on individual ability, the course hours may need to be increased to reach the required test standard. Additional tuition will be charged at the published rates at that time.

If you complete the ATPL ground school with Oxford, we will offer an additional 5% loyalty discount off the course fees, excluding the CAA Test fee package.

Course duration is approximately 6-8 weeks, weather dependant. The training takes place at Oxford Airport, UK.
