Approvals & Awards

Oxford Aviation Academy, as one of the very first non Airline training organisations, is now approved to conduct Cabin Crew Initial Safety Training according to EU OPS pt 1.1005.

The Oxford Airline Training Centre (OATC) at Phoenix Goodyear Airport is also Approved by the United States Federal Aviation Administration as a Pilot School (OXZS 857K) under FAR part 141. This school is authorized under US Federal Law to enroll nonimmigrant students.

The formal Approval certificates that we hold, from all Aviation Authorities, are displayed prominently at the front entrance of each of our training centres for your inspection.

The Oxford training centre is also a UK CAA Regional Flight Test and Examination Centre with 2 resident CAA staff flight examiners. This means that JAA Theoretical Knowledge examinations and Instrument Rating Flight Skills Tests are conducted at Oxford Airport on a routine basis – a considerable benefit for all our students.

We are full Corporate members of AOPA and the BBGA.
